Bio:
MY Name is Robert Mallgren, I live on Long Island and I started fishing when I was 4 years old for goldfish and then saltwater fish. My first carp was caught in a small town pond in west Hempstead NY called halls pond. Later on in life I forgot all about carp fishing when I was given the power of the auto mobile. I started doing more trout and salt water fishing. In the past years I rediscovered the joy of carp fishing. It was after the New York deer hunting season in late December. My friend and I were board and he took me down to the town park where I caught my first large carp in my youth. We caught sum small carp and this brought back lots of memories of my youth. I decided I would learn more about carp fishing. I did an internet search and discovered the carp anglers group. I was soon in contact with Ed Wagner and he invited me down to the Kissena park fish in. needless to say was hooked.
